The Legal Defence and Assistance Project (LEDAP) is a non governmental organization of lawyers and other law professionals working together on a shared commitment to justice, the rule of law and human dignity in Nigeria.

MISSION STATEMENT

To create sustainable capacity in the civil society for the legal protection of human rights and public interest casework thereby improving the regime of good governance, the rule of law and administration of justice in Nigeria.

LEDAP works under a 3-year strategic plan that articulates its programmatic policy. it combines legal service delivery, human rights education, and advocacy for good practices law and policy reforms in order to strengthen the systems and institution for the protection of Human Rights, the rule of law and good governance in Nigeria.
